I always tell clients before their newborn portrait session that baby is in charge and I take the baby’s lead. Sometimes babies don’t even open their eyes during a session and other times they have no intention of going to sleep! You just never know what you are going to get. I provide some helpful tips and suggestions to help parents prepare and yet, sometimes babies have their own game plan. 😉 This was the case with Miss. Lily. She did not follow her usual sleepy routine on the day of her session and we had to work really hard to get her comfortable and finally, nice and sleepy! Eventually, I won. But she made me really work for it! 🙂
